Love Letter Inspiration + Ideas

EEK, I am so excited to release my new Love Letter Blankets! They let you write your feelings down in woven blanket form, and give somebody you love an amazing and thoughtful gift.

But, what if you have writers' block?

Here's some inspiration!

For a gift from grown (or grown-ish) children to their parent(s):

"Dear (Mom/Dad),
We love you so, so much. Thank you for comforting us through scraped knees, for making our lunches and giving us a hug whenever we needed one. You have always encouraged and inspired us, and we all feel so lucky to be your children.
Love you forever,
Your kids"

For a gift from a parent to a child:

 "Dear (child's name),
My darling child, you are so important. Your kindness and generosity inspire me every day, and I know you'll continue to do great things. I am so lucky to have you in my life, and you have changed me for the better. Your bold authenticity, humour & love have made me look at the world in a new way. Thank you so much for being you. I love you more than you know.
(Mom/Dad)"

For a graduation gift from a parent to their child:

"My child,
I am so proud of you on this graduation day. You have worked so hard during these past years, and your successes and challenges have made you the smart, caring, hilarious person you are today. I know graduation is but one milestone along your incredible path, and you'll continue doing great things. Time has flown by, and I've loved every minute of it. Thank you for this wild adventure.
(Mom/Dad/Grandparent)"

For a gift from student(s) to teacher:

"Dear Ms. Brown,
Thank you for being our grade 10 drama teacher. We've learned so much, and made so many lifelong friendships. You've inspired us to follow our passions, even when things get tough. You taught us how to be patient, how to find the humour in almost anything, and how to dream big. We'll always remember the time the bus broke down and you helped us all get home!
Love, your class of 2019"

For an anniversary gift to parents/grandparents:

"Dear Grandma + Grandpa,
Your story of love and your 50 years of togetherness is a source of inspiration for the younger generation of the family. Your kindness and generosity to each other guides us through our own journeys. We wish you a happy anniversary on this special day!
Love your Grandkids,
Sarah, Jake & Molly"

For an anniversary gift to a husband, wife or partner:

"To my darling on our 10-year wedding anniversary,
What an adventure we've had these past years. We've seen good times and bad, and there's nobody I'd rather share these memories with than you. Our marriage brings me so much comfort & happiness. Truly, home is anywhere I am with you. Thank you for taking this journey with me. I love you."
